Will Iraqi Air Force Finally Get Off The Ground? (www.longwarjournal.org)

Iraq will purchase 516 military aircraft from the United States and France for its new Air Force. The aircraft would be delivered to Iraq from 2011 to 2015. Iraq's current force has fewer than 100 mostly unarmed planes and helicopters.
